Man, if the road surfaces on this course were a little better, it would be insane. I loved this track - hard but totally what a bike race is about. I rolled off the front on the first lap for maybe 1/2 lap, maybe more, and sat up because I had no idea what was in store. Several hard climbs, small ring, lots of fun.
I've had a long time coming back from last year and this race started to feel okay. We signed up for the 4/5 since the 4 had nobody in it as of last night. There was a full field that I guess whittled down pretty severely pretty soon.
This was the first time I've been in a 4/5 race that passed both masters fields so quickly.
It was a fun race. Those guys do a nice job of promoting. Come to Lost River.
