GamJams Reviews - Chamois Creams

I've never been a super regular user of chamois creams. Most people know not to lay around in nasty bibs and let things fester, and also to wash shorts after every ride. An ounco of protection and knock on wood and all that.

There have been times when the miles stack up enough that a little light chafing will sound the alarm that it's time to act. When that time comes, it's A&D Diaper Rash Cream for me. It works, and that's critical. This is the universal choice for dealing with the saturated, fermented detritus produced by the food processor that is todays modern baby. I've got nieces and nephews, I know what goes down. This stuff works against THAT? Okay, you have my attention.

Furthermore, like many of my favorite products ($.69 construction gloves for racing, anyone?) it is avaiable at every CVS or wherever for a decidedly non boutique price. Even better than that is that you can buy it with flexible spending dollars, so you get to stick it to the man when you use this stuff! Did you hear that Drew?

That's a cool perk about the flex spending account there.

Having a different insurance plan myself, I called my insurance company about having to buy $200 worth of bandages and tegaderm last year after a nasty skid. The person told me I should have just gone to the hospital if I needed that much gauze.
