Don't You People Work?

Seriously. I’ve got to get me one of these jobs that allows me to bail out for the lunch time ride. Lunch time ride? I’ll take lunch time at all. Oh well I guess it’s the price I pay to take part in my glamorous, prestigious and infinitely remunerative profession. Maybe I’ll be a lobbyist when I grow up. But then I’ll be bloated and drunk all the time, won’t I?

A couple of days ago I took a poop that smelled like bad breath. Staggeringly offensive yet wildly incongruous. Several years ago, we had a huge long email thing going around among some friends, which started with a poo shaped like a question mark.

Politics has got me down. I’m trying to come to terms with thinking that I might actually support John Edwards. He’s an ambulance chaser (there’s a lot of really wrong shit about what he’s done as a lawyer which I will sum up briefly by saying that your insurance premiums and the way your are handled in the world has been negatively affected by what he’s done), and I think his campaign with Senator Count Chocula from Massachusetts was one of the least impressive things I will see in life, but I’m definitely smelling what he’s cooking this time. He sounds genuinely pissed off about runaway executive compensation, corporate malfeasance, the widening gulf between the “haves” and the “have nots,” the elimination of the middle class, etc. These are things I get behind. John McCain is saying some of the same things, and he’s got a wealth of personal integrity. I have a feeling that these two will be afterthoughts by the time all is said and done. Too bad. At least the voter turnouts in the first two primaries were huge. People are feeling it and that can’t be all bad. If they vote for Hillary, that will be all bad.

All right then, it’s time to saddle up and do my wonderful Wednesday cross training workout. I try to really spice it up by cross dressing, so it’s something to look forward to. I can’t wait until next week, which is a rest week. I have the fatigue, awful bad. Awful bad.

How about that Ron Paul. No income tax. I would love to see another person win South Carolina to really mix the race up.
