Pedal on the downhill and pedal harder on the uphill.
Don't be the guy who drives into the garage with his bike on the roof of the car (I've watched it happen at least once every year).
Buy some of whatever it is the NCVC juniors are selling. It's a great program and worth supporting.

You forgot the key resource.
"On the last lap, don't streak to the front, pour it on into the last turn, and (1) swing inside to outside, because even if you don't cause a huge crash everybody will hate you; and, (2) begin your sprint at the bottom of the hill because you'll die 100 yards from the finish, and you'll hate you."
